Ike Turner featuring Tina Turner and Home Grown Funk get into the "Party Vibes" on this 1980 release. "Party Vibes" is very funky indeed and has a guitar riff in parts that seems lifted from Rick James' "You and I."
"Shame, Shame, Shame" on the flip is a rousing cover of the Shirley and Company hit, which features Tina Turner on vocals. I'm normally not a fan of covers, but this is smoking. Get this 12 inch for both cuts.
