NOTES:

Alec R. Costandinos tries his hand at composing music for the skateboarding film "Trocadero Bleu Citron" in 1978. The title track starts off sounding like the "B" side to "Romeo & Juliet" and then goes off into different directions with swirling strings and funky guitars. Worth getting just for this cool track. Songs are sung in French. The US promo on Casablanca is sung in English.

This album is rather hard to find, but well worth the effort.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Alec R. Costandinos

There are actually two versions of this album, but the only difference is the title track. On the USA version (Casablanca NBLP 7117), the title track is sung in English. On the international version (released in Canada, France, and probably other places), the song is sung in French and is also a different mix. The other vocal tracks are all in English on both versions.

Alec Costandinos' "Trocadero Suite" is a masterpiece that easily justifies hunting down this album.
