Disco Dancin' b/w Wide Stride (12")

RECORD LABEL / RELEASE INFO:

A & M Records (Canada) / 1978 / SP 12005
12" Disco Single 33 1/3 RPM Vinyl

STUDIO CREDITS:

Producer: Billy Preston

Remix by Louis Cazabon

TRACKLISTING:

Side A
Disco Dancin' (3:54)

Side B
Wide Stride (Instrumental) (3:15)

NOTES:

Unlikely Disco artist, Billy Preston is sometimes known as the fifth Beatle. However in the 1978 Billy Preston took a stab at Disco with these two three minute tracks replete with his organ sounds.

"Disco Dancin'" is so contrived that it is safe to pass it by despite a promising intro. The instrumental, "Wide Stride" on the B side fares better as it is very funky and catchy. If you come across this 12 inch for cheap pick it up.
