YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON George McCrae

Must agree with you that the album was not a good step for George's career after so many big hits. I did like the "Dance In A Circle" track though and thought at the time if it had got a remix and a single release it could have been a hit but it wasn't to be.....

I wasn't impressed with the album except for one cut which I heard at the Paradise Garage and Better Days back when disco was starting to tear it up, the song that I liked was 'Givin' Back The Feeling

I can't believe anyone can say anything negative about this Lp. As far as I'm concerned, it's his best, thanks to Gregg Diamond. "Givin' back the feeling" is a killer disco track, as is "Dance in a circle". Gregg Diamond, by producing and co-writing this LP, gave McCrae the same gift he'd made to Gloria Gaynor with "Glorious": probably his best album. Maybe not in terms of sales, but certainly in terms of quality of arrangements and writing.
This remains one of my favorite disco LPs.
