V.I.P. Connection
Please Love Me Again b/w West Coast Drive (12")
RECORD LABEL / RELEASE INFO:
Morningstar Records (US) / 1976 / DV-MST-516
12" Disco Single 45 RPM
STUDIO CREDITS:
Written by Arpadys
TRACKLISTING:
Side A
Please Love Me Again (6:30)
Side B
West Coast Drive (4:47)
NOTES:
V. I. P. Connection: One of the best French disco acts in a super rare 12". I don't know if Arpadys is the same band author of the electronic album titled "Arpadys" which came out in 1977.
This is the U.S. pressing of a mix which includes two superb tracks, different between them. The side b, "West coast Drive", made an impact in the afro-funky clubs: a mid tempo number featuring funky-disco rhytmic and string section with fender rhodes & horns. The side a is a solar and joyful tune, the same joy you feel when your girl asks you: "please...love me again".
