NOTES:
Lonnie Gordon has got to be one of my all-time favorite vocalists. She has the attitude, the look and the pipes to garner such devotion.
After appearing on records by Simon Harris & Quartzlock ; she was ready to explode as a solo artist.
This album is simply great...The fact that it was a limited release still puzzles me.
Lonnie's already red-hot HAPPENIN' ALL OVER AGAIN is joined by the laid-back (and slighly Sybil sounding) BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS.
Then you have to get some rousing NRGetic PWL tracks and they're found in BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU (although I still prefer Hazell Dean's version),BEST OF FRIENDS,I NEED YOU and mainly THAT'S NO REASON.
Lonnie even remakes First Choice's classic "Let no man put asunder" - though it's retitled IT'S NOT OVER [LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER].
Some of the songs were rumored to have been written for a Donna Summer/S-A-W return engagement that never happened.
As a S-A-W & PWL fanatic...I still love this albums as much as I did 18 years ago.
