NOTES:

Sophomore effort for Montreal's own Suzy Q.

Sounding very much like her debut album... this is a nice slab of "economical" funk/dance. Nothing too fancy and relying a lot on sparse arrangements.

This album could be considered an hommage to all the sounds that were influencing dance music in 1982.

Whether influenced by Bobby "O" (Makes you blind), Gap Band (Come let's have a party), her very own repertoire (Love is in the air could be considered "Get on up & do it again" Pt.2) and the title track borrows freely from Yarbrough & Peoples' "Don't stop the music" in sound and delivery.

This fun collection sort of has a punk appeal. It certainly beats to its own drum and goes into all sorts of directions.

The 12 minutes medley is in the style of the other medley of original tunes that graced the 1st album a year before.

I'm pretty certain that this follow-up was not released in the US and none of the tracks eventually showed up on the Suzy Q's Greatest Hits CD.

If I could offer one bit of criticism : The overall sound is somewhat muddy at times. Side 1's length is almost 22 minutes.
