NOTES:

DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!! As I was leaving New York City, heading south to Miami. STAR LOVE was a huge New York City hit. As I arrived in Miami, it was GOT TO BE REAL that was being played more. I quickly changed that, and played both! They were equally big, and bad! They ruled for that summer and winter, packing the dance floors and making the place bounce. The club looked like it bounced, as everyone jumped. It was a sight to see. The fantastic vocals made it very popular, the easy introduction made deejays love it. Can't miss with this 12" version that has BOTH songs on it. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.

Yes I agree, it is a great track, but STAR LOVE was just as big also. In fact I enjoyed playing STAR LOVE more because of its escalating music, that hits a peak then goes berserk! Much like us. The dance floors would go crazy, I would go crazy!! While GOT TO BE REAL was a bigger hit, maybe, STAR LOVE was more fun to play!!That hasn't changed since 1979. Both songs get a 10!
