NOTES:

DISCO CLASSIC ALERT!!! Okay, it may not be the old fashioned DISCO, the Son of Disco?? [And Today's "music" would be the black-sheep grandson of DISCO]
What is for sure, is that MISSING YOU was a huge hit!! It was played in every DISCO, GAY or Straight, either early/late or in the PRIME TIME, for about three months solid. Then for the next year or so, a Dance Floor filler-upper anytime you played it. I personally still LOVE this song. He, John Waite, sings it with such feeling and conviction, that I really believe every word he sings. It sounds like a man whose heart was broken, whose soul was ripped out from inside him. Or at least a man whose feelings were hurt! There is a conviction to his voice, to the words that come out of his mouth, that I believe. Then there is that slow, melodramatic drum beat, that hits you on the head , like a hammer, over and over as he screams that he is "not MISSING YOU at all". Man, that strikes deep in the heart of any man who has ever been hurt by another. Do you feel what I'm talking about? Do you understand why this song was so good! Then it was so easy to mix into it. All you had to do is synchronize the first 32 beats with something similar, and let it flow. Time to mix out? In the last break, you could again, synchronize 32 beats, with a long introduction record on the other turntable. Let them play together for 32 beats, then mix out. Or you really want to get fancy, let it mix for longer, and you'll get John Waite shouting over and over I"M NOT MISSING YOU, I"M NOT MISSING YOU and ease out slowly. There are so many different things you could do. Can you see, can you understand why this is a TEN!! ENJOY IT!!!
