NOTES:
It usually amazes me when after twelve years of DISCOMUSIC.COM, there is a CLASSIC record not listed yet!! But when I realized that I had a chance to include one of BARRY WHITE'S albums, I smiled!!
"I've Got So Much To Give" was one of EARLY DISCO'S GREAT ALBUMS!! A CLASSIC!! In the beginning... there was little music to play, so ALL of BARRY WHITE was played. Each album, most cuts were played. They were sexy, long, and danceable. Oh, did I mention POPULAR!! They were requested all the time, and I gave it to them nightly!
STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF LOVE was a cover of the Motown great. Barry White made it his!! It was slow, funky and oh, so, sexy!
BRING BACK MY YESTERDAY was more of the same, only more melancholy.
I'VE FOUND SOMEONE was the weakest cut on the album, but still filled its place in the early night. Here come the BIG BOYS, the TWO cuts off this album that played the most, and for the longest of time periods. I'VE GOT SO MUCH TO GIVE and I'M GONNA LOVE YOU A LITTLE MORE BABY were played each and every night. A little more up-tempo and with a faster pace to it. It would fill the DANCE FLOORS!! In The PRIME TIME!! On my scale from 1-10, it is a honor to give this album a TEN!!!!!!
