Zummos

An Obsession (12")

RECORD LABEL / RELEASE INFO:

A & M Records (US) / 1985 / SP-12179
12" Single 45 RPM vinyl record

STUDIO CREDITS:

Written and Arranged by THE ZUMMOS
Produced by Joe Jackson
Remixed by David Morales and Ray Smith

TRACKLISTING:

SIDE A:
An Obsession (remix version) 6:30

SIDE B:
An Obsession (Dub Version) 5:40

NOTES:

This A&M product was representative of the cross between Euro-DISCO / NEW WAVE Rock and funk that was prevalent during this time period. While on some play lists (like mine), it wasn't on enough to make this record happen. Does that mean it is a bad record, NO. It means that not everyone thought that this was good enough, and there was too much new product available. I like the dub and the remix. Maybe if A&M would have pushed this record, it might had made it. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 5.
