NOTES:

Paul Vincent was a radio DJ out of Quebec, who was known for having released a french version of Rick Dees' "Disco Duck", and managed and launched Roch Voisine, of "Helene" fame. He sang both in French and English, and released several albums, this one being the better known to Disco aficionados.

What characterizes most tracks on this record, is a mix of very silly moments/tracks, with genius arrangements/choruses. Some tracks are overly silly (baroque), seemingly rejects from the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack; "Gay Rock For Anita" and "super Elton" promise to be killer tracks from the beginning, only to be almost spoiled by a silly intervention, typical of the other tracks. A milder remix concentrating on the better parts of both tracks would have provided 2 definite killer tracks. Mind you, the tracks are actually really good, I'm just frustrated that they came so close to Disco perfection, just lacking a better mix.

Paul Vincent was found OD'd in his Montreal home in 1996.
