How records are arranged

Records are listed by the artist's last name and "the," "el," "la," "le" and "a" are removed so Donna Summer would be under "S" and El Coco under "C.". Artists without a proper name like Suzy Q would be filed under "S".

Please note that searching for Kool and the Gang is not the same as Kool & the Gang. Likewise, searching for Saint Tropez may yield more results than typing in St. Tropez. The last name LaSalle or LePage may also be listed as La Salle or Le Page. Please try all alternate spellings and abbreviations when searching. While we try to keep artist names consistent, this is a user built database so there will be differences depending on who submitted the record.
