Georges Thurston

Also known as "Boule noire" (Black ball) for his afro hair cut of the 70's. Georges Thurston is well known in Canada and other french communities around the globe for disco/funky songs like "Aimer d'amour" (over 100000 records sold), "Aimes-tu la vie", "Loin loin de la ville", etc.
Georges also wrote songs for the group "Toulouse" and contributed to their success.
On Feb 2006, Thurston is diagnosed with a level 4 colorectal incurable cancer, he will die 16 months later at age 55.
