Sandman 380 a.k.a. Fred Doug
Rapper/Writer (August 11, 1982 - ?)
SandMan 380 AKA Fred Doug
This rapper was last scene in Los Angeles. Know one knows if he moved, stoped rapping or died. His legacy is similar to west coast great TUPAC.
Sandman 380 loved everybody, but was West Coast to the heart. I had one chance to sit and talk with him on his street the one dub, thats how he would have said it. Smoking a blunt the size of a Snickers bar in A Mac Dre T-shirt, white chucks and tan dickie shorts. The first thing he said to me was, did I want to hit the blunt. LOL I declined and told him that I heard his music style has never really been touched. He laughed while blowing smoke out and replied with music from the heart then he asked me how did I here his music and how did i end up on his street with alphabet questions (fbi lapd CIA). I told him i was thinkin of becoming A hip hop jounalist and i put my ear to the streets and now doing one of my first interviews.
Sandman 380 told me he wanted to reunite the coast
the way Tupac and Mac Dre did and as E-40 is doing. He put in A CD and told me it was his mix tape and there was 40 songs on it. Starting to fill the contact we listen to 15 songs verse to hook and I was amazed with his vocal range, delivery, timing, tongue twisting, and even producing, I begged for the cd. He told me he'll make me a copy. He recieved a phone call and stepped away I flipped through the CD to realize I'm in the presence of a musical genius. 380 truly has the ability to sing, rap, produce and he has the look that would turn any girls eye. He came back in and told me he needed to leave and he gave me his cell phone number and told me any time.
On my way out he pulled the CD out of the cd player and tossed the cd. I've had his cd for 2 months and i still play it everyday. Sandman 380 AKA Fred Doug is a true song writer and I pray for his health because he will be a vital piece for the new westcoast. The number I have always goes to voicemail. Still call, but if anyone knows of were he is take that kid to Dr.Dre, Rick rock, Kanye West somebody because he's most deserving. If He passed R.I.P and the
world will soon immortilize you.
