Tour Manager for Gregg Diamond (b: November 4, 1946 - present)
I was Gregg Diamond's one and only tour manager. I had preveously worked with him with the group Jobriath and the Creatures (see photo below) which also included his best friend from their old band Five Dollar Shoes, Jim Gregory who is also deceased and Steve Love from the rock group Stories, whom I also worked with.
I worked on Tiger, Tiger, Hardware, and Hot Butterfly, and some 12 inch mixes and received album credits. I can tell you this: Gregg Diamond was a fine man, he has two great brothers Godfrey Diamond and Jack Doroshow. His music and those who played on his albums were cutting edge performers and musicians!

Feb 25, 09 | 9:45 pmHad now idea of the brothers. Therefore I just have to ask:
Did Greggs brother Jack Doroshow (Not THE Jack Doroshow?) produce this record? http://www.discomusic.com/records-more/12003_0_2_0_C/
That name is credited on a 7" label I have..

Nov 29, 06 | 12:03 pmHi Joe,
Great to have you here at DiscoMusic.com. Gregg Diamond was a talented artist and producer and a favorite of mine with Bionic Boogie and his Star Cruiser Band.
What was your most memorable moment in the music business? Did you have any creative input on any of Diamond's material? Thanks.

Was Joel Diamond related to the Diamond brothers you mentioned?
