Wilson Pickett

March 18, 1941 - January 19, 2006

 

Wilson PickettWilson Pickett passed away in 2006 from a heart attack while in a Washington DC area hospital. He was best remembered for his Soul classics, "Mustang Sally" and "In the Midnight Hour." He also dabbled in Disco with the 1978 12 inch single on Atlantic called "She's So Tight."

    MUSTANG SALLY, IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR are my two favorite songs by this R&B legend. Not a DISCO artist at all. But he made music that made you dance!!
