COMMENTS ON Vivien Vee
"Gimme a Break" was her singalong U.S. disco hit.
But "Remember" lived up to its name: a brooding track about bad love that was arranged to let Vee stretch her pipes, and impressively for those who only remember "Gimme a Break."
The synths and horns (which may also be well-arranged synths) contribute to this a.m. "sleaze" record par excellence.
