Post Disco group from Chicago

discoChicagoís hottest disco band 000000000001 tops the charts at download.com / cnet for 4 consecutive months. With a projected download forecast of 250,000 mp3ís, these Chicago heavy weights are gaining a new legion of fans worldwide. 000000000001ís sounds have traveled from Japan to Berlin, with their motto ìfree music for iPods and Mp3 playersî attracting millions of fans and causing an influx of fan mail by adoring listeners. Lead member Nico Demonte cites Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, Gary Numan, Brian Eno, John Cage, Fatboy Slim, and the synthesizers of Robert Moog as inspirations. Following Isaac Hayesí 1971 theme from the movie Shaft and Manu Dibango's 1972 "Soul Makossa,î Nico molded the act through such themes as lipstick, prada, Vera Wang, high fashion, nite life, jet setting, and new romanticism. It is no secret that the 1977 classic film Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta also played a role in Nicoís notorious disco outfit. Lets not forget Donna Summer's "Love To Love You Baby" hit of 1975. Whether it was the Rolling Stones or the Sex Pistols, Nico seemed to find his way to the discothËque where dressing up and messing up became a part of his musical identity. Filled with synthesizers, vocoders, real audio, and sexy disco hooks, the band draws its inspiration from legends like David Bowie and Madonna. Take one part Donna Summer, Meco (Domenico Monardo), Chic, Gloria Gaynor, Jocelyn Brown, and Odyssey, and you have some sick disco music. The Chicago based band continues to tread on Dangerous Ground even amidst wooing Warner Bros Music Corp, Universal Music Publishing Group, EMI Music Publishing, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, and Paramount Group. The band could not be reached for comment regarding any future legal action against News Corp regarding their First Amendment rights. ìWe are pursuing all options,î stated band spokeswoman Anna Astley. The band plans to release its first LP ìSexî later this year, with hit songs ìJack Off, ìHomo Erectus,î and ìHuman Sleaze.î

Regardless of the Rolling Stones controversial song Sweet Neo-Con from their album A Bigger Bang, Anna Astley suggests that everyone reflect on Supreme Court Justice Robert Jacksonís opinion that ìThe very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. Oneís right to life, liberty, and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of no elections.î ó Supreme Court Justice Robert Jackson, West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943).

Human degenerates, Sunglasses, lists of names, Prada, Giorgio Moroder, Gary Numan, high fashion, night life, jet setting, and new romanticism, international phone calls from Paris, watching his favorite TV shows, cassettes of rare bootlegged shows of David Bowie and Madonna, sleazy humans relating to trashy high fashioned models walking across the silver screen whilst flaunting their Hollywood lifestyles, leather boots, and Kraftwerk inspired computer disco. Just last week, former band members from the band Nico and The Velvet Underground were removed off the popular website, Myspace.com on Monday August 15, 2005. Having regrouped under the alias ì000000000001î Chicagoís hottest disco band tops the charts at download.com / cnet at number 1. The disco band has lovingly embraced their fans by giving away thousands of ipod mp3ís, free music downloads, itunes, and taking a neutral position while users swap files using P2P file sharing on such sites as Bittorrent.com and Limewire.com. Members Nico et al. see this as the cornerstone of intellectual property issues on the internet. Like the Microsoft monopoly, Myspace.com might be classified in the same arena.

ìWe are delighted at the success of 000000000001 and anticipate a world tour for 2006î says Nico. ìOur fans love to dance, they love to have fun, and their excited about our music. We want to play our disco in Germany, Japan, Italy, France, Greece, and around the world.î The hit song ìMetrosexualî was followed up with ìDAVID BOWIE VS. PLASTIC ROBOT SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA,î ìCars,î ìGestalten Sie Sleaze,î ìHot Stuff,î and ìRobot 1982.î

Nico credits the creation of 000000000001 in part by the sounds of the late and great DJ Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles. It was during the 80ís that DJ Ron Hardy spread his unique sound of Italo disco, Chicago house, acid trax, and electro-pop at the Muzic Box in Chicago. ìDJ Ron Hardy played disco classics and new wave or synth pop because he was both a visionary and a great DJî says Nico.

ì000000000001ís mission is to continue the work of such greats as Marshall Jefferson, Chip E. L & R, Adonis, Larry Levan, Phuture, Larry Heard, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Jessie Saunders, and Robert Owens. We are keeping Chicago on the map for disco.î
