YOUR COMMENTS ON Andy Kahn
Andy it's your old friend Frankie Sestito and it is great to see your name in this category as you are truly a talent. I can rembember plain as day the way you would edit your music, there was tape everywhere and for the life of me ,I still don't know how you knew which was which.
It was a pleasure to work & play with you and Kurt, we sure had a lot of fun. Also your note about Kurt put a smile on my face, I sure miss him also, I still have most of my vinyl and just the other day I pulled out the famous "Tuba" song...
I still keep in touch with most of our dj friends, in fact I was just with Wayne Geftman & Jackie McCloy the other day at a dj forum in Atlantic City, we need to get everyone together in one room real soon. Stay well....
Since you’ve co-written the song ‘Hot Shot’, I would like to inform you that we’ve made a new arrangement accompanied by a video a few weeks ago. The dutch coverband that I’m in is called ‘Jukebox’ and exists for 19 years now. This year we decided to hire a female lead singer, the 19-year old Adriana, which made it possible for us to record a song with a female voice. While brainstorming through our repertoire of covers, we unanimously decided to choose ‘Hot Shot’. We all liked the magnificent way in which a raw, jazzy sound was mixed with a funky disco vibe and thought the song deserved a ‘second life’.
In October we went off to Jukebox Records in Bulgaria, my homeland, to record my arrangement of the song and shoot a video. Our goal was to preserve the great musical qualities of the song and to mold them into a version suitable for today’s audience.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Vladimir Ivanov

Jeff and I lost mom in January of 2004 and then moved dad out to Seattle in May of 2004. He too passed away one year later. Yes it's totally weird being without them. Like we're orphans. Where's Walt these days and what's Billy up to? We'd love to have ya'll out to Seattle if that's possible.
Warm regards,
Dinah
