Description: Bob Braucci, Waterbury CT c. 1984. Bob was a great friend, and a frequent model for me, post-Syracuse. I especially loved cashing my checks at his teller window at the bank. And forget it when we would go to BACKSTREET (Hartford) together. He and I'd be standing there with no shirts on, and more often than not, someone would send over two drinks, for that guy with the great chest, and his friend. Somehow, I knew I was the friend. Hey Bob, thanks for always guesting me at THE SAINT!

Jun 25, 09 | 2:38 pmI grew up with Robert in Thomaston, Connecticut. We all went to school together since kindergarten. Robert rode on the same bus with me. We lived on the corner of Hickory Hill and Old Northfield. My mom was a teacher. Anyway, our class is celebrating 30 years of post high school life. We wanted to have a memorial for our missing classmates. We found Robert's picture at this site. I tried to get old copies of the Advocate to display his covers but to no avail. If anyone wants to help with this process...please leave info here, I suppose. The reunion is Aug 1 at the Northfield Dam at noon.

Jun 05, 09 | 9:39 pmRobert is my nephew and he is still achingly missed. My son recently found this site and told me about it. He said he had been missing his cousin, tried searching the net and found this.
Robert, sweet child, we love you and continue to miss you.

Mar 14, 06 | 5:47 amI knew Bob quite well and photographed him many times over the years. I remember him spinning in CT for a time. He was always great about getting me on the guest list to THE SAINT when he worked there. He had a serious ear for music, and I still laugh over the times we went out on Sundays in Hartford, both of us standing there, shirtless. Invariably, drinks would be sent over to Bob, for him "and his friend."
He did have the hottest physique. A great model.

Aug 26, 05 | 4:35 amThanks for the update Andrew. Bobby was one of my favorite DJ's at Greg's Blue Dot. He knew how to keep the energy going, even when the song had a slower BPM. We all miss him very much.

Aug 25, 05 | 2:01 pmI am Bobby's older brother and was surprised and honored to see my brother remembered here.
I find it hard to believe that my baby brother has been gone now for 15 years, I miss his humor and talent everyday.
To up date your information, Bob was born on April 11, 1961.
Thank you again for allowing me to see that he is remebered by the people that he loved to spin music for.
Andrew

Happy 50th birthday Robert! I certainly remember ALL the great times we had...from cashing my check at your window at the bank to The Club (our first...just after you had mono and were skinny as a rail!) to the UConn/SU game on Valentine's Day to all the crazy modeling I made you do and all the contortions I put you through in front of the lens and to all the fun we had in NY. I know you'd be telling tales out of school about me if you were here, so I'm going to tell everyone about you...minus the really fun stuff...like where you found my earring after a serious New Year's Eve party...who remembers the year! If I did, I didn't have a good time! Cheers, mate!
