Back in the day we (Black men) called him Tyrone Davis or T. D., the Beggar, because of the words in his songs. Don't get me wrong still loved his music. Gone but not forgotten. We love ya, T.D. And I'm always proud of anyone from my home state of Mississippi.

I was a big fan of T.D. I had a chance to meet him we lost a legend.he was great in concert,my favorite songs by T.D was turn back the hands of time, how sweet it is to be love by you, turning point and I love his knew cd.he made another cd after hot spot. his wife never gave them permission to release it,how I know this I ask his friend that's a singer. After he caught the stroke I never gave up on him I put it in my head that he was going to get better.

I have to mention his tune "Without You In My Life" which was a huge hit in my club back in 1973. Still an all time favourite of mine. A true soul talent with one of those identifiable voices that will be missed.
