CP Spencer dies at 65, was tenor for the Originals.
C.P. Spencer, whose soaring tenor voice led the hit song
ìBaby Iím For Real,î by Motown group the Originals, died Wednesday 20 October of a heart attack.
The Oak Park resident was 65 best known to members of this website for "Down To Love Town," but this highly collectable Motown group made consistently good records throughout their career. 'Dont Stop Now' being an anthem in U.K rare soul clubs in recent times.
C.P's last recordings were for Motorcity records in the early 90s. R.I.P C P SPENCER.
