COMMENTS ON C.P. Spencer

My reaction was wooahh, I was a big fan of the ORIGINALS, loved DOWN TO LOVE TOWN so much, that as a young deejay I wrote a letter to MOTOWN requesting more copies of the album,(remember the little fox on the cover!). They asked me why, and how many. I responded by telling them that this record was so hot it melted!! They didn't believe me, but sent me ten copies anyhow. I later found out that it was at the urging of SPENCER that I received them. His reasoning, ANY DEEJAY who wants my record to play at a club, can have as many as he can use. Guess what, I eventually used them all, and still have four copies!! I am going DOWN TO LOVE TOWN right now. Thanks and God Bless.
