New York's loss was Miami's gain! DJ Dimitrius returns in force to South Florida and the tables. After years of the New York Underground and event promotions, DJ Dimitrius returns the driving house beat to Miami and South Florida.
With event spins at Roxy, Vinyl, and Limelight, Dimitrius went into the production arena becoming one of the East Coast's most sought after production engineers. In June of 2002 Dimitrius made an unpresedented return to the DJ booth while accepting a title track award in London during the World Stylus Competition.
Today DJ Dimtrius is bringing the New York Underground to South Florida in @VINYL, Fort Lauderdale's newest addition to the After Hours club scene. Dimtrius recently won the prestigious Stylus Mix Competition for the remix of DJ/Producer Tomas Arias' composition Instrumencia Vox Remix which premiered in London on May 31, 2002. Dimitrius was the newly inducted DJ to the DJ Hall of Fame in 2003 joining the prestigious list of DJ's including Danny Tenaglia, Susan Morabito, Junior Vasquez, David Morales, and John "Jellybean" Benitez.
