Barry, you are a GOD as The Lick (MTV) said in their TV special.
I love you. Rest in peace or should I say LOVE in peace, wherever you are.

I have a five year old son who has requested Never Gonna Give You Up as well as other Great songs of Barrry White. Their is no other greater legacy than for music to stand in time thoughout generations. Thank You and Rest in Peace until we meet again.
man oh man he was the man, i mean i grew up in grant projects, in harlem, 3 blocks from the apollo theatre, so i definitely saw the man, i was lucky and blessed to see him and hear him, i still listen to his music after 30 years, no other will be like him and never will. he is now in the upper room, playing for the lord, cause the lord has all the time in the world to listen to bw's music, now barry simply got the best audience. so i am sure i'll see him up there, when the lord calls on me. hey barry, i will get u a hankerchief (smile). and bw thank you
I dedicated Barry's song "My first, my last, my everything" to my girl! Enough to say ...or? Barry's a GOD!
I love him so much, I grew up on his music. I introduced my kids to Barry White. To me he was also one of the musical Genius. He will definitely be missed.
RIP Barry White.
What a shock to the world when Barry passed. He left a hugh hole in the music industry and in the hearts of music lovers everywhere. Barry may be gone but never forgotten, just think of the number of babies that were made to his music. The man could make you week in the knees. Barry is the Man. I know he is now at peace in the secret garden.

What can one say about BARRY WHITE that hasn't been said or written. Not much I suppose. But I'll put in my fews cents as well.If you were to compare DISCO to the American fathers that started a revolution 223 years ago, BARRY WHITE would be the DISCO version of GEORGE WASHINGTON. He wasn't the guy who started it, but he ran it, and ran it well, the first years after it's birth. While not really the person responsible for the revolution, he was its figure-head, its leader.------ To put it in a way anyone with a brain can understand,in BARRY WHITE'S first two albums, every song on them , became a DISCO CLASSIC!! Those recordings found their way into every DISCO, and had everyone dancing on their Dance floors. But that wasn't enough, even prior to that success, he put out the LOVE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA, and his "LOVE'S THEME" became their stairway to the top of the music charts, and forever into everyone's heart. For YEARS it was a staple on deejays turn-tables, in house parties, proms, Bar-Mitzvahs, Sweet fifteen parties. It was one of the most danced to songs of all time. Can you begin to imagine in how many weddings it was played? I got married in 1986 and it was played and it packed the floor!!! I still haven't gotten past the LOVE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA or his first two albums!! How about IT'S ECSTASY, when you lay down next to me, or a very DISCO MY FIRST, MY LAST, MY EVERYTHING!! How many people got laid to his music, probably more than those that got laid to FRANK SINATRA. It goes way beyond his music, he was the figure head to the DISCO world for at least five years. He helped put DISCO on the map, not just here, but internationally! He was bigger in JAPAN then he was in the States. Hard to believe, not if you talk to a 50 year-old Japanese man. He sold more records per-capita there then any other country. He was a HUGE man in ways other than his size. And how about that VOICE he had. Was there one better? Not at that time, not in my Clubs! Bill Cosby had a hit record making fun of BARRY WHITE!!Do you remember, "RIGHT ON"? BARRY'S orchestration was un-matched, and the way these records were arranged was beyond belief. I know he had Gene Page, Tony Valor and others that helped him, but the name on the record said BARRY WHITE!!! I think I'll put on a BARRY WHITE SONG just for the hell of it. Does every deejay remember those words, PUT ON A BARRY WHITE SONG, or PUT ON SOME BARRY? Every one of you heard those words so often, you might have thought that it was part of your name. You know, there is one thing I am certain of, we really won't miss him too much, his MUSIC will always live on. BARRY WHITE will always live in our minds and hearts as well. WE LOVE YOU BARRY, and we CAN"T GET ENOUGH. GOD BLESS!!
No one will ever take the place of , be the "NEW " or even be the poor man's Barry White.
This brother had it all..
My personal favorite being "It's ECSTASY "When you lay down next to me".
You cant find a much better bassline or funkier groove if you try.
Barry opened his mouth and not only did soulful grooves emerge but magic as well.
