YOUR COMMENTS ON Jermaine Stewart

Even though he had one hit, and "Say It Again" never duplicated the success that he had with "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off". Jermaine Stewart will forever be remembered for his love in music. God bless him and those who were fortunate to know him, I wish I could have!

Jermaine actually had a few hits, The Word Is Out was his first 12 inch from his debut album, i remember seeing the video on New York Hot Tracks and went out and bought the song, it took that Art Of Noise beat and added a vocal to it, i also had the pleasure of meeting him and finding out he was down with the Shalamar clique he wrote a song called Jody, i loved the B-side called Dancefloor, he was very funny and sweet as i let him have it about his hair!!
sad to know he's gone

I had the pleasure of meeting Jarmaine in the mid 80's in San Francisco I was working at Famous Amos cookie shop on Polk St. and he came in I remember he was so funny to me we talk and joke around. He bought some cookies and asked me when I get off work I told him 8:30 he said that he will be back to get me, I was like yet right. Well that night I was mopping the floor and their was Jermaine Stewart tapping on the glass. We hung out in the streets of San Fran having a good time later that night went to his hotel room at the Mark Hotel my God I was only 19 and never been in a 5 star hotel before it was so Fab to me. He should me picture of him and Aretha Franklin, Jody and other starts. He was real cool kept in touch for a few years, then lost contact. God Be With You Jermaine.

I hope I'm not confusing him with another artist, but I thought I heard it was AIDS that killed him.
