COMMENTS ON Esther Philips
You know...this woman is so overklooked..Her Life, her music. I recommend anyone to pick up a copy of her greatest hits and read the liner notes by Creed Taylor. Her crowning achievement, "WHAT A DIFFRENECE A DAY MAKES" in 1975...recently remixed and is an incredible song. Her voice, unique and unequalled in all of jazz and blues...rest you Esther Mae Jones.
WHAT A DIFFRENCE A DAY MAKES,WELL IT MAKES A DIFFRENCE WHEN YOUR NOT HERE WITH US...REST IN PEACE ESTER AND THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES. TILL WE MEET AGAIN YOUR FRIEND NOW AND ALWAYS DJ STEVE THE SAGA PEREZ

You are still with us, we are on going with your music, this will last forever!
Thanks to the people who supported Esther to become a great artist, but also a fine person with a clear perspective on live as it is!
Thank you.

TWENTY-FOUR LITTLE HOURS, I first heard that song at REFLECTIONS in NYC, when she performed there. I think she lip-synced but who cares. That song made her an icon. Thanks.
