Dec 21, 04 | 9:52 amYou know...this woman is so overklooked..Her Life, her music. I recommend anyone to pick up a copy of her greatest hits and read the liner notes by Creed Taylor. Her crowning achievement, "WHAT A DIFFRENECE A DAY MAKES" in 1975...recently remixed and is an incredible song. Her voice, unique and unequalled in all of jazz and blues...rest you Esther Mae Jones.

TWENTY-FOUR LITTLE HOURS, I first heard that song at REFLECTIONS in NYC, when she performed there. I think she lip-synced but who cares. That song made her an icon. Thanks.
