Aug 16, 05 | 7:39 amI still listen to your solo music just as much as I listen to your work with "The Tempations". You were a beautiful person (from what I seen) inside and out and you are dearly missed. I even named my son Kendrick after you. Rest in Peace.

Aug 04, 05 | 3:24 amEddie Was A God In His Time, What An Incredible Talent With Such A Wonderful Way About Himself. An Icon With The Temptations And Then Records Disco Classics (Date With The Rain, Body Talk, Change Of Mind To Mention But A Few) As A Solo Artist. Imagine What He Would Have Continued To Acomplish If Those Damn Cigarettes Did'nt Take Him From Us!

Feb 28, 04 | 10:03 amEddie Kendricks was was the smoothest singing tenor in the history of recorded music. He is best remembered as the Silky Smooth lead singer of The Temptations.

Nov 13, 03 | 10:37 amEddie gave us many great hits and greater memories but for me he will always be remembered and loved for, "Date with the Rain" and "Girl You Need a Change of Mind."

I remember playing A DATE WITH THE RAIN nightly when I was spinning at BINGHAMPTON'S FERRY BOAT in Jersey. He had just released that album, and was in New York City playing somewhere. Then he walked through our place and sat down for some fresh Maine Lobster, and a New York Strip Steak. That included Pilaf Rice, baby corn and Broccili. The Lobster was huge, and the steak was at least 16 ounces. He at it all, in less then twenty minutes!! He got up, thanked me for playing his record, signed it, then went back to New York City!! I was amazed at the appetite that EDDIE had!!
