Thanks, will update listing.

Ironically, there´s another Glenn Hughes on the music scene. He´s still alive, was bas player and singer in Deep Purple (1974-76), and nowadays is a solo artist.

I had the pleasure of knowing Glenn through the Limelight in Hallandale and for years thereafter. Every time they played at Club Boca in Boca Raton, FL Glenn would see to it that I was brought back stage and partied with the band. Also saw him several times in NY at Madison Square Garden where he did the same.

He was a kind and gentle soul. May he always be blessed and rest in peace.

Favorite VP tune: San Francisco/Hollywood

I first saw VP in 1978. I brought Glenn a black leather Rose. 5 years later they perfomed at a club I was working in, in Miami. He remembered me, and the rose.
For the next few years, whenever they'd come to S. Florida and perfom, the rest of the VP would head to The Copa after their shows. But Glenn and Alex would show-up at a little club I worked at and dance by my booth. Always a big hug "hello". And a kiss "good-bye". Needless to say, I'd melt, everytime. And those eyes, up close, could make you forget your own name.
He was my first BIG crush and I'll never forget "the night Glenn Hughes kissed me."
