Nov 16, 04 | 6:52 pmAnother one of the best R&B singers of all time. He is definitely missed

THE CLOSER I GET was easily one of the best SLOW JAMS in the history of recorded music! That is one hell of a statement to make. But for over a decade, it was a FLOOR JAMMER, guaranteed to pack the floor!!Donnie and Roberta Flack not only made a simply fantastic recording, but it was MAGIC. The chemistry, the harmony, the intense emotion of it made you love the one you were with!! I had always heard the name of DONNIE HATHAWAY, but can't remember what else he performed. Either way he will always be associated with THE CLOSER I GET. Thank you Donnie.
