Bernie, are you sure it was INTESTINAL BLOCKAGE? That doesn't sound like a nice way for such a fantastic person to die. The GIBB brothers were regulars at TUTTLE'S in the early eighties. It was a five-star gourmet restaurant as well as a DISCO. They would come by once or twice a week for dinner. They would converse with me, hang out and shoot the breeze. They were all down to earth regular people who enjoyed life. Maurice found it funny that I had a 12" copy of YOU SHOULD BE DANCING and he didn't. Of course all my BEE GEE records are autographed. Maurice, you music lives on, I am going to go play NIGHTS ON BROADWAY in your honor. God Bless.

Such a lost to the music world - I guess he can watch over his lil brother Andy while making beautiful hits...

I hate to ask this question but I wonder if his mother is still alive because she is burying another son. My heart goes out to her.

While the Bee Gees are one of the most successful recording acts in the history of music, you're missing a lot if you're only familar with their hit singles. Check out album tracks like "Subway", "Spirits Having Flown", "Until" and two tracks they wrote for Barbra Streisand, "Run Wild" and "Promises", and "Why?", which they did for brother Andy.

The Bee Gees fans miss him as I grew up listening to the Bee Gees on the radio. They all felt like family.
