Feb 26, 08 | 8:16 amMELVYN FRANKLIN, EDDIE KENDRICKS and DAVID RUFFIN. It sounds like a TEMPTATIONS reunion in heaven. Everyone up there must have good seats, it is going to be one hell(excuse the pun)of a concert. Seriously, these guys were great, I miss hearing them and watching them perform. I missed the originals, only saw the TEMPTATIONS after they were all gone. Still a great show. GOD BLESS.

Sep 27, 05 | 9:40 pmAre there any bass singers left?Melvin Franklin and Ray Davis from Parliament/Funkadelic(who recently passed) were the standard. But Melvin's voice was incredible. I remember folks would cheer even when he spoke. I still feel sadness 10 years after his passing, but he, along with the Temps, left such a body of work that all I have to do is put on some music by the Temptations and that sadness disappears.
