    Good Day All!
On Behalf of Myself The Furious 5 and His Family we;d like to thank you all for your kind comments. I know somewhere he is proud of the legacy he left behind and all the praise and acknowledgements but thats not what made him tick. He always shied away from attention and was cool in the skin he was in. Just Keith. He always left Cowboy on the stage. He along with Grand Master Flash changed the way we listen to music today and we will never forget that. So again we thank you the listeners. Feel free to hit me on Facebook if you want to know more about this great man and again thank you very much.
    Yours Truely
    Dynamite.

Most people knew him as Cowboy i knew him as Keith because he was my neighbor on Crotona Ave in the Bronx NY Keith was a good person who would give u the shirt off his back. After coming off tour he would always come back to the block as just Keith to us and him i and his family at the time became very good Friends I stll miss keith to this day but i also have many of memories like him and the furious practicing on the roof and the many parties i got in for free just because i knew him may god bless his soul..

Mostpeople knew him as cowboy but i knew him as Keith because he was my neighbor in my building on Crotona Ave in the bronx KEITH had a heart of gold and would giveu the shirt off his back. We became good friends. When the fans stop screaming from his many shows he was able to come back home in the boogie down bronx and just chill. He is not here in the natural but his spirit lives on to all of us who knew him well

I GREW UP WITH KEITH IN THE BRONX, KEITH, HIS BROTHER KELLY, MY SISTER SHELLYE, AND THREE OTHER WERE IN A TERRIBLE FIRE TOGETHER, SO I KNEW HIM WELL AND ADMIRED HIM EVEN MORE. HE WAS AND STILL IS A GREAT INFLUENCEIN MY MUSIC CAREER. WE ALL HAD FUN TIMES IN THE BRONX, I LOVED WHEN WE PLAYED KICK THE CAN, AND ROUND UP, AND SMELLY. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AND MISS HIM. MUCH LOVE.

First off GMF & the F5 is the best rap group of all time period!RIP C.O.W.B.O.Y I was in the Bronx on 9-8-89 it was a Friday nite I'll never forget it I was chillin wit this sister she was telling me how she was down wit Kid Creole in a group back in the day she was like 'yeeeah I used to dance wit Danny and them niggas' so we started goin from member to member I told her how I met Raheim in the Studio in the city and how Mel was the greatest(still is)he was on Quincy Jone's joint at the time.So then we got on Cowboy talkin bout how he ripped "Freedom" and how smooth he was. When we finished I believe it was Red Alert that came on KISS the radio and announced Keith Cowboy Wiggins has been pronounced dead...yo we just looked at each other like damn,I couldnt believe it man we were just on a old skool high then it was over cant explain the feelin, crazy thing is my first son was born in Bklyn on 9-8-90. Cowboy was the dude that made me wanna rock a Kangol nobody could rock em like he did man word...Peace to the family and Little Keith I hope you find all you need to know about your pops kid 1LUV

I know Keith passed away quite a while ago, but since I've been listening to allot of old Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five albums lately he's been on my mind.

I saw Keith with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five live in San Francisco and in Oakland (I believe) at the New York Fresh Festival, and will always appreciate his talent and smooth voice.

RIP Cowboy! You will not be forgotten.

I don't know how many times i went back to back with the faded out verse at the end of Freedom. I wish that he was still here to get what he deserves. R.I.P my dude! Oh yeah that is not Cowboy in the pic. Great gesture anyway. I believe that is EZ Mike...one

    greatest MC to live
    "MC"
you can't teach the instincts he had
and would have kicked the a** of any 10 rappers in the game today. on the mic or in the street!

I Had The Pleasure Of Working With Cowbow (And The Furious 5).

I Recorded/Mixed For Him In The Studio As Well As Toured. He Was A Real Kool Brother.

I Understand His Death To Be Of Different Causes But That Does Not Matter.

It's Sad to Lose Him At Such A Young Age.

    God Bless.

Gone, but never forgotten. Rest in eternal peace. Respect.

  • Scott Hudson

Oh man, it's great to see that one of the members from rap's first super group has not been forgotten. He was smooth as butter, and who could forget how he wrapped up the end of ''Freedom''? I hated that he went out the way he did, but I guess he was a casualty of the times. RIP Cool Keith The Cowboy
