Joey Soiree
Disco promoter (b. March 13, 1952 - present)
Joey Soiree threw single parties in the Disco era at New York clubs like Les Mouches, Copa, flamingo, Xenon, Visage and many others.
Joey Soiree used to draw between 1,000 to 2,000 people at a party, lots of hook ups ,we had a lot of music industry people attend. especially from Casablanca artists, I was friends with the original Village People. I was clubbing every night at a different club in the boroughs or the Island.
We had a terriffic White Party at Les Mouhes in the Hamptons, but usually we partied out in Fire Island (ocean beach, grove, pines, oceanbay park, our crowd was a mix of straight and gay and not a hastle as when we took a club for the night it became my house and no one ever went overboard as I watched really carefully.
Les Mouches was my fave as they allowed anyone that would mention my name they got in free. Threw one of the most memorable beach party inside the club. Still dancing with my wife
