Jim Harvey

DJ Jim Harvey's first time behind the tables was at The Rafter's discotech in Saratoga Springs in 1976 after befriending DJ Tom Lewis...Tom left early a couple of nights and Jim was given the chance to play a couple of times for the late night crowd. The DJ bug had bitten him and he would soon begin moonlighting as a DJ pretty much wherever he was living while working in his primary career, which was broadcasting operations. Jim started at a bar in Rochester NY ( Art Stock's Playpen North) in 1981 after landing a job in master control at WUHF-TV in Rochester. After relocating to the Stamford, CT area for a new job taken at the Satellite News Channel.

Sensation's in Norwalk in 1990 (spinning WDRE night on Monday's hosted by Malibu Sue McCann)
The Red Zone in Norwalk 1991
Mirabelle in Stamford and then Art Bar in Stamford from 1992 to 1994 ( he was also part owner of Art Bar)
