Willie "DJ Will" Travali grew up in New York City. He started DJing in the early 70s at underground clubs and raves and has now been playing in clubs for around 35 years.
Will has played in many NY nightspots including Ruby Fu, KonTiki, Downtown, 310 & 1/2 and Limelight, and in Connecticut as a resident DJ at DialTone, Studio 71, Daniel's, Montego Bay, Twilight Room, Infinity and Tangerine's among others.
Now in his mid-50s, Willie "DJ Will" Travali has evolved his mixing talents into an eclectic genre of styles diverse enough to groove just about any clientele from Deep House to Disco. Known for his long flawless blends, innovation and creativity as well as the talent for breaking new music, Will evolved into legendary status within the circle of Connecticut club-goers.
His influences were Nicky Siano, Larry Levan, Lil Louie Vega, John "Jellybean" Benitez, Tony Humphries, Johnny Pagano, Tom Moulton, Hippie Torrales, Ralphie Rosario, Todd Terry, Red Alert, Scott Blackwell, Hex Hector, David Morales, Roger Sanchez and Duce Martinez.
Will is currently doing internet radio shows, guest appearances, remixing, writing and producing.
