New York Disco DJ (b. January 1962 - Present)
Tony Torres played at Roseland at the height of the breakdance/freestyle era. along with Jellybean, Raul Soto and Roman Ricardo played to packed houses and was instrumental in playing some of the biggest records of the genre ie Shannon, Lisa Lisa, Jenny Burton, Soul Sonic Force, Strafe, and Hashim.
Tony Torres also mixed Uphill Peace of Mind by C.O.D., Don't Want You to Be by Rama, Danger Zone by Planet Patrol. guest spots at Roxy, Thriller Nirvana One.

Sorry Tony, don't know who you are. I've been to ROSELAND many times, but that was over thirty years ago! When did you play there? was it still a heavy LATINO flavor?
Early 80's. Crowd was mixed, but majority was Hispanic.
Similar crowd to the Funhouse and 1018(Roxy)
