New York and Miami Disco DJ (December 5th, 1956 - Present)

Pete Denis Pete Denis started as a deejay in 1972, first Club gig, when the MOB owned COPACABANA re-opened in New York City in 1973. Went on to open THE SOAP FACTORY in Palisades Park, New Jersey. Played with Ed "the worm" Rothstein at BINGHAMTON'S FERRY BOAT in Edgewater, New Jersey. Deejayed at LE COCU in Manhattan.

Went to Miami, FLA and won awards at MENAGE, CLUB MYSTIQUE and TUTTLES. Also worked at FACES IN THE GROVE, 1235, THE MONTE CARLO Hotel, The CROWN in Kendall, VISIONS of Kendall and Hialeah, The Carillon Hotel, The TOP DRAW, The JOCKEY Club, and the infamous SAMMY'S EAST SIDE. The first deejay at the famous FORGE on Miami Beach.

Pete Denis was also the editor, publisher and writer of THE VYNIL JUNKIE, a trade magazine that was very influential in record releasing and in record companies A&R departments. Deejayed at WBLS in New York, and was the ORIGINAL POWER MIXER on Power 96 in Miami. Played a month in front of 25,000 fans(nightly) at the Broward county youth fair. Lead and head DEEJAY for the night-club company known as LONDONTOWN ASSOCIATES, that provided lights, sound, music and deejays at over 400 night clubs world wide, mostly exclusive, private clubs and all the HILTON Hotels. He would record four-hour reel-to-reel tapes that would be duplicated and sent out to each DISCO weekly. It made him the most HEARD deejay world-wide. An expert "Re-Mixer", Pete was also an associate of BO CRANE'S record pool in Miami, actually running it in 1979-81.

Today Pete Denis is retired and an author. He is currently married for 21 years and is raising two young girls.
