Darrel Fisher "Phase Linear"
Club sound system designer/installer (b. 1957 - Present)
Darrel Fisher grew up in Eatonville, WA. Fisher soon got interested in sound when he joined the Navy. He started doing live sound for bands in Chicago Ill. Fisher then Moved to San Diego where he met Richard Piselli they formed a partnership company called West Coast Sights and Sounds.
Piselli and Fisher did many jobs together including work on WCPC Disco, Rasputins Disco, Soreno's Dance Palace, Daves club. and more. In 1981 Darrel moved to Seattle where he started working for Brian Crosby at Optimum Sound a Phase Linear Dealer. He soon met John Kmetz & Alan Butterworth at the Monastery where he introduced the Phase Linear Amplifiers.
Darrel Went to work For Alan Butterworth where he was a Technical Advisor for West Coast Sound and Light Formaly Pacific Sound and Light. Darrel was involved with most of the Discos The Monastery/Sanctuary, Club Broadway, Brass Connection, Axlerock,Tonights the Night disco Neighbours, Sapphos, OZ, Schoochies Rollar Disco, in Seattle.
In 1994 Darrel moved to Colorado where he started his own company: Star Sound and Light with partner Leroy Salazar where he continues his work. Discos he has worked on: Club Q Hide & Seek the Chief Alternative and Bishop Castle.
