Michael Brecker
March 29, 1949 - Jan 13, 2007
Michael Brecker was a tenor saxophonist who played with his brother Randy in the Brecker Brothers and on many Disco albums such as The Players Association, Poussez, Esther Phillips along with countless others. In 1975 the Brecker Brothers even charted on the Billboard Disco Chart with SNEAKIN' UP BEHIND YOU.
Michael Brecker died on January 13, 2007 from leukemia, which is believed to have been related to his being diagnosed with a blood disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) a year or so earlier.
