Joe Causi
New York City radio DJ
Brooklyn's own Joe Causi has been a staple on New York's radio since the late 1970s with his spot on WKTU, which was better known as "Disco 92."
Joe has the Brooklyn attitude that his listeners love and can still be heard on New York radio hosting his "Studio 54 Classic Showcase," which plays the best in classic Disco music on Mix 102.7.

YOUR COMMENTS ON Joe Causi
I want to thank Joe Causi for providing an opportunity to be heard on the KTU Studio 54 Clubhouse with Brooklyn's Own Joe Causi.
Joe has been a component for Mix Show Radio over 30 years and I wish him all the best in the years to come.
Disco Music never sounded good until Brooklyn's Own airs it!
Sincerely,

I went away on vacation for the holidays and upon my return I realized that you are no longer on 102.7. In fact, the station is no longer Disco 102.7 it has been changed to Fresh 102.7. I am disturbed that the only Disco radio station we had, has been taken away from us. You and Michele were a wonderful combination and the music you played for us had so much energy and memories, I always listened to your station and now I miss it. However, now that you are no longer around and the station has changed, what are we supposed to do? I am really upset about this and so are my friends. We actually had a conference call this morning about it and we are all equally upset that our favorite radio station has been taken away from us. More importantly, we are concerned that the yearly Disco Ball at Atlantic City will also be canceled this year. Can you kindly reply to this email and tell me who I can contact or who has information on the Disco Ball at Atlantic City this year. Joe, we really miss you and hope that you will return in the very near future to our radio playing our favorite disco music and entertaining us your different topics everyday.
From your disco friends.

I am sooo disappointed and sad because mix 102.7 is no longer on the air!! I really enjoyed listening to the station especially in the mornings with you and Michelle. The music was right up my alley and brought back soo many memories. Have you move on to another station???
On my way to work on Jan 3rd, my first day back after the holidays, I tuned in to mix 102.7 only to realize that have changed it to Fresh 102.7. I was so distraught and I have been very upset this whole week. What should we do now? I am really at a loss. I always followed you back then. Where are you now? It's not fun listening to the radio anymore without you and Michelle.
Please let me know where to find you again?
Thank you. I miss your music so much!
no clasic showcase, probably no st genaro feast,Joe what do we have to do to get you back on radio , who do we have to email,or call you know us old guidos still have power and you know once a guido always a guido and proud so dont put your milk crates away we need you i will bring you a big macanudo just tell us what we the listeners can do
I am so upset that you are no longer on the radio and that Mix 102.7 is gone!! That was my saving graze in the morning, driving to work for 35 minutes. I woke up to you and Michele and I totally miss it!! I don't understand these radio stations. Doesn't anyone ask the public what they want??? We don't need another Lite radio station. Joe, please keep us informed as to when and where you're going to be!
Fuggeddaboudit!
I really miss you guys can someone please send me an e-mail and let me know where I can find you?
I was very, very disappointed and upset that they changed 102.7 to fresh, and you are no longer with the station. I really enjoyed listening to the station every morning, etc. Really enjoyed you and Michelle. What is going on? Where are you now? I really miss the music and listening to you and Michelle. You were both very refreshing. The music of 102.7, the new dance mix, was my kind of music. Really upset over this. There really is nothing on the air to listen to. Also, what about the Disco Ball in Atlantic City? I went to it and had the best time of my life.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Barbara
I have to echo the concerns and disappointment expressed by Maddy above on demise of MIX102.7 I sincerely hope you will be coming back with another show featuring Disco, and the Classic Showcase. The only station and show I really enjoyed.
