Lyn Collins

1948 - March 13, 2005

Lyn Collins Lyn Collins was a singer and member of the James Brown Revue. She passed away from cardiac arrhythmia at the age of only 56. She will forever be remembered for her 1970s track, "Think (About It)," which was sampled in the late 1980s by Rob Base on the song "It Takes Two."

This is such sad news to me, Think was my first true club song experience, introducing me to the club scene and arousing me in a way so pleasingly unfamiliar to my young senses at the time, causing me to want more and more.

I Can Tell You From Experience, When An Artist That Samples Wants A Funky Rhythm They Sample This Legends Percussion Tracks.

She Was Oh So Funky.
