John Adame (Johnny Hook)
Disco DJ (August 16, 1959-present)
John Adame began spinning music in Houston Texas in 1975. He worked several club during that era that included, Uncle Sams, Todds, Elan's.
He later would spin in Houston at Fizz / Hippo / Club 6400, Confetti.
He Later played in the New York City area. The L.I Exchange in Long Island, NY, Boca Bay in Morristown, New Jersey. He also played at Gators Shuck & Jive in 1991, which completely turned that club around from live music, back to dance music, and boy did it.
Financial standing turned around in a big way that year. He later was the program director for a small niteclub company, out of Hattiesburg MS. Since then he has returned to Texas, in Dallas where he still plays today. Most recently was spinning underground Retro in Deep Ellum. Perhaps you heard him live on 102.1 the Edge, the summer of 2003. He may be contacted for special events. svipro@sbcglobal.net
