YOUR COMMENTS ON Jr. Walker
Aulty DeWalt, aka Junior Walker, was grit and gut bucket soul personified. Motown reputation was built on spit and polish, but then Jr Walker hit the scene with "Shotgun", and turned everything upside-down! The closest sax I've ever heard since him, is David Sanborn, and when he stretches out, maybe Kenny Garrett. But nobody - and I mean nobody - can, or ever will wail a sax like Jr. Walker! Wow!
