Gene Page was the greatest arranger of all time. Nobody can even come close. Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, (Greatest Love Of All), Elton John (Philidelphia Freedom), 60s & 70s Motown it goes on and on. He was a major factor in creating the sounds of today. R.I.P.

Two comments on the greatest arranger of our time!!! That is sad, have we forgotten haw simply fabulous this guy was!!?? Barry White always gave him the credit for the success of the LOVE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA, isn't that the ultimate compliment to an arranger? Just to get that many musicians on the same page together was outstanding! Get them to play that heavenly music, night after night, record after record. That is one amazing man. GOD BLESS!
