YOUR COMMENTS ON Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury was so much more than a singer. He put in words pure Love and shared it with his voice. Until recently I had no idea what I had been missing being not of what is considered a rock fan having stumbled on the group on late nite tv in the 80,s and with only excess to a few songs. To this day I seek pleasure in knowing there is still unheard music for me to find like a lost treasure.

Freddie seem to show different people leaving us to guess which one was him. So I looked into his eyes and would like to believe I saw his soul a careing quiet sweet person much in contrast to the showman on stage. When the stage became quite with his passing to this day I Thank God for the Blessing he gave us which is Freddie. MY love to you in Heaven

Not a day goes by without my hearing Freddie Mercury it brings me calm in peace and during life storms of everyday. A safe place to come to through Gods Blessing. I believe God couldn't be everywhere so he gave us Angels to see us through he created Freddie, Brian, Roger and John which gave us music gifts of love Gods words in song.

Freddie Mercury was more than a singer, ebcause he changed the world. In his life he opened people's eyes to a new kind of music, and in his death he opened people's minds to the AIDS crisis. Freddie Mercury will never be forgotten. God bless him.

Ahhh Freddie, you were such a great personality, and I loved those songs. I remember basketball games, and cheering to we will we will rock you. How tacky that was lol but it was fun. You were bigger than life, and it wasn't until you were gone, that people realized how fabulously talented you really were.

My favorite singers are usually people like Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, FRANK, Sammy Davis Jr., Lou Rawls, Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass and Stevie Wonder. What they all had in common, besides being American born, is that they were individuals, mostly SOLOISTS. The exception was Freddy Mercury. The English born crooner was part of arguably the BEST ROCK n' ROLL band of all time. Freddy's outstanding voice and range was the main reason. Who will ever TRY to sing BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY again? Others may attempt, but will never be able to SING it like Freddy did. That is why in thirty years, no major re-make of this song has ever been released. Then came his DISCO years, and QUEEN took to it brilliantly. Hit after hit came from them. Then came the fact that he was GAY. That could be his biggest contribution to music. He was openly GAY and he lost no fans, he gained more! That opened the door for some amazing GAY acts that followed, SYLVESTER for one admitted his admiration and respect for what Freddy had done! Truly belongs in every HALL OF FAME, the one and only FREDDY MERCURY, GOD BLESS!
