I'm really struggling to understand what falco has got to do with disco. His music is not from the disco era, does not sound like disco, and he doesn't even look like someone who would want to do disco. He's a complete 80's austrian pop act... I donlt think he should be fetured it at all, it just shades a bad light on disco... again... we really want to avoid that.
FALCO was not a DISCO act. He was a DANCE MUSIC act. The DISCO term was "OUT", no-one wanted that logo attached to them. I knew FALCO, and he did not like to be called DISCO, but he LOVED the fact that both, Der Kommissar and Rock Me Armadeaus, were played at DISCOS!!!His European Dance Music was very well received here in the states. And Vienna Calling also got a lot of air play. He, FALCO made too much money too fast, and this bright light burned out too quickly. I wish I could hear him count to four again.
