I'll Bake Me A Man Is Such A Classic Hustle Track, Wonderful! So Sad To See These Great Artist's Disappear, Makes One Feel Kinda Old. Nothing Lasts Forever In Music.

Barbara released "I'LL BAKE ME A MAN" in the very early seventies. It wasn't a radio record, it was a DISCO record. Tell me, could this have been THE FIRST DISCO RECORD???? I really want to know? I am not sure when it came out, but I do remember that it was before I started deejaying, and I started in 1972. I didn't know she had passed away. It makes me feel old, my friends die, the musicians we listened to die, soon enough we all will be history. But until then I will celebrate the DISCO sound, and Barbara was one of the pioneers. Thanks.
