DJ (b. 1959 - Present)

DJ Fannelli Michael Fannelli (DJ Fannelli)

Michael Fannelli started out as an "old school" club Dj in the early 1980s, spinning his music from Western Pennsylvania (where he was born and raised) to South Florida, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco. He enjoyed the west coast, but for his love of the year round warm climate in South Florida, he decided to move back to the Sunshine state where he is currently residing and remixing. His mixed sets are reminisced to the remixing style of the 80s and 90s Sunday Tea Dance era that was popular at the clubs such as Tacky's Nightclub in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. (His old stomping ground) The music was a mixture of new songs with older dance hits on the dance floor.

disco Due to a spinal cord injury that has caused a gradual loss of grip in his hands, he no longer performs live sets. He now has branched out into the studio remixing field. Something that comes very natural to him. He is currently remixing for the beautiful and talented new artist Jessyca Langarcia, where on her music page you can download his latest remixes "Dj Fannelli's Thunderbolt Dance Remix" of "Beneath It All" and "Love Eternal (Fannelli Viva La Jessyca Remix)".

Remixer Michael Fannelli is also in the process of remixing dance hit classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s era, along with dance remixes of current songs and artists. He is VERY open to new projects for recording/remixing companies and new or established artists.

Fannelli enjoys and has been influenced by artists such as Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, New Order, U2, Cher, Annie Lennox, Madonna, Deborah Cox, Taylor Dane, Anastacia, Diana Ross, Freemasons, Donna Summer and Remixers Arthur Baker, Victor Calderone, Junior Vasquez, Chris Cox, Ralphi Rosario, Peter Rauhofer, Jellybean, Paul Oakenfold, Joe Bermudez, Julian Marsh, Paul van Dyk, Shep Pettibone, Giorgio Moroder and of recently,Thee Werq'n Bitches.

On a personal note ,I love how Fanelli can take a new song and make it sound old school as well as take an old school song and make it sound current..
He has a style all his own..It's called FLAVA~!!!
and his aint vanilla

Much Dva Love to you Mike..

YOUR COMMENTS ON Michael Fannelli

Dayna, that was a great Bio, Very Impressive, but, OLD SCHOOL is from the 70's, the 80's is more like middle school.Sorry that he has stopped doing sets.

It's all according to who you ask.
Some people think the 90's is old school and for the young it is....But Michael remixes 70's classics as well...
