RC McWilliams
Disco DJ (b June 26, 1953 - Present)
My first spinning job was in Chicago 1974 at Rainbo Ice Arena, eventually working through the years at Broadway Limited, Bananas, and Cheeks.
While working as a merchandiser for Polygram Distribution in '78, I moved to Miami. The Second Landing and 13 Buttons were two of the clubs I worked there.
1980 brought me to Key West and I started taking over along with fellow DJ's Michael Reece, Howard Merritt, Voggue and DDT. There were always places to play in Key West and we each had our home base- mine was Delmonico's- and we guested at each others clubs. While at Del's I landed the primo spot at La Terraza (LaTeDa) for their Sunday afternoon, world famous Tea Dance. Along with the party planners and incredible staff spearheaded by owner Lawrence Formica, we gave THE BEST parties in town.
After 11 years of Sunday Tea, a break was in order and a 3 year hiatus ensued. Coming back to LaTeDa in 94, I put in two more years before retiring and eventually leaving Key West.
I still have all of my important records and am ready to find a willing venue here in Las Vegas to unleash some classic gay disco.
Currently I work in musical instrument retail and as Merchandise Manager for legendary touring band FOGHAT.
Thanks to all of the fine DJ's I have worked with and a special thanks to John Hedges and David Diebold.

YOUR COMMENTS ON RC McWilliams
I do recall that you were always more interested in "the music", than "being a DJ". Which I truly admired.
Cheers! It's great to know you're still around. Knock 'em dead in Vegas, baby!
